Dear Sister

I figured I would leave you a little note because I am sure that you are the only one in the world that cares enough to check my blog.  I can't believe the drama Steph caused by announcing that she is getting married.  Her mother is a work of art.  I believe my sanity(lol) is why I came to this family.  I really do wish I was more crafty and more computer savvy...I mean really who owns an Iphone and can't even add music or ring tones...ME!

today

Not that anyone but my sister is reading this but here is today's news.  I found out my middle grandson wants to be a super hero and his name is Super Fart man.  What would be your weapon????  I am donating my hair for Relay for Life and raised $12 so far today!  It was a great day at work, even the guests made me feel special.  I made homemade tacos and almost pulled off whole wheat tortilla shells...lol  trying to sneak in living healthy on him but he is catching on.  Have a great day and keep anyone who is less fortunate than you in your prayers.  Tomorrow will be my first day back in a church in a VERY long time.

Mother in Law

These aprons in my pic are actually ones that my mother in law has made.  She is slowing trying to teach me how to sew.  It would probably work better if I had more time to spend on it.  I actually enjoy it and the sound of the sewing machine, when I am not cursing at it, relaxes me.  Some day I hope to post my own crafts on this blog. 

Back again

Well, it has been a cleansing 3 days.  It was nice to be able to eat again.  I think I lost 5 lbs.  I hope I don't put it on again.  If everything is working right now it should stay off.  Now to make sure I eat right and exercise like I should.  Would not mind getting down to 150 lbs...30 lbs to go!  Will listen to any ideas or words of wisdom.  Thanks!

birthday

Well, it wasn't as bad of a day as I thought it was going to be.  I did hear from over 120 people who wished me Happy Birthday today:)  That is one good thing about facebook, it connects you to people you would never have heard from. It was nice to hear from my loved ones...missed talking to Riley, Jade and Robert though.

Beginner

Well, I have just started blogging.  This is very new to me so bear with me.  I am on her because my sister says this is so cool.  We will see!  I am working on my very first quilt and looking to improve.  If only I had the time.  Between work and what my family needs from me I don't have much time for myself.  I am learning to make my free time valuable so if you have any ideas please let me know!
